By now you should have heard about all the Pokémon GO craze that is driving teens to walk into snakes or people to not pay attention in parking lots. While I think the game is pretty darn cool it also has hazards that people should be careful of. So for those of you playing safely or those that have kids and need a Pokémon GO break after playing all day I have the perfect drink for you. The Bulbasaur Cocktail with blue curacao, malibu rum, and melon liqueur topped with mint and edible flowers.

Pokemon

We all know we wished Bulbasaur could shoot out cool flowers from his back. While my now teenagers were young they loved Pokémon. However, I remember quite frequently stepping on pokeballs rolling into walls or down staircases that I didn’t want to. Hence two out of three of my teens are playing this game. The oldest says it’s just another reason for people to have their face in their phones. Therefore I am pretty sure the only technology he likes is Xbox.

The other two really enjoy the game. My daughter plays while I drive down the road. We have gem and a lure across the street that I plan to take her to tonight. Not to mention stopping off for a slushy while we are there. The key I see to this game is the running out of pokeballs. Once you do the nice little shop will get you for some coins then onto some pokeballs. By round 5 we ran out of balls. I purchased some but that is crazy the game can limit that quickly.
