A little over three weeks away to Valentine’s Day. The day some say is just a commercial holiday so we buy more for each other. I don’t really believe that. The thought of making a gift, buying a gift, or just giving the gift of love is what I find important. You don’t always have to buy something. Instead of buying a pre-made wreath I decided to show you here how to spread the love with a simple do it yourself project that takes under 10 minutes. This Valentine’s Day Wreath is so easy. It doesn’t take much to make either.
I remember times when I couldn’t afford a gift and instead I did something nice for that person. For instance, one time I helped some one organize their room. Another time I made dinner for a significant other. Once I just spent all day with my kids watching movies. We just had the most candy filled movie blasting day. It’s not always the gift you buy but the time you spent with that person. That is why Valentines is so special. It reminds us after a busy holiday season when to spend someone time with one another.
WHAT YOU NEED FOR A VALENTINE’S WREATH:
- one heart wreath frame
- valentine’s garland (1 or 2 strands)
- glitter valentine hearts
- valentine sign
- hot glue
- hot glue gun
- wreath door hanger
Wrap Valentine’s garland around the wreath until all the wreath is covered. How much of this will depend on the size wreath frame you bought. Warm up hot glue gun. Glue the glittered valentines hearts in different places. Glue the sign where you would like it. Let dry and hang on door hanger.
It took me less than 10 minutes to make this wreath. I can now spread the love straight from my front door which I enjoy!
