Rudolph Chocolate Popcorn
Rudolph popcorn is fun to serve up while watching Christmas movies. Great for a big bowl of holiday fun at parties. Make the reindeer popcorn for gifting as well.
This seasonal popcorn is fun and easy to make. Made with Ghirardelli’s dark chocolate melting wafers, red M&M’s, candy eyes, red candy melts, pretzels twists, and popcorn.
Firstly pop the popcorn as directed on the package. Lay it out on a baking sheet with parchment paper. Make it all as thin layer on the sheet. I like to use movie butter popcorn.
Secondly place pretzels all over the top of the popcorn. I used pretzel twists but pretzel minis or small pretzel sticks could also be used. I try to add the pretzels all over the top of the popcorn.
Melting The Chocolate Wafers
Thirdly microwave the Ghirardelli’s dark chocolate melting wafers as directed on the package. Using 50 percent power or defrost mode on your microwave. Each microwave is a little different. Drizzle the chocolate over the top of the popcorn and pretzels.
Drop candy eyes and red M&M’s all over the top of the chocolate drizzled popcorn and pretzels twists. Make sure to do this all through out the popcorn. Lastly melt the red candy melts as directed on the package. Drizzle over the chocolate candy popcorn and pretzels twists.
Each candy melt brand is a little different so always work with the directions on the package. I used red candy melts by Sweet Tooth Fairy. I prefer these as the melt the best. They also have the best color and flavor.
Rudolph popcorn is fantastic to make and gift. Make ahead and place into bags to gift with. Make this for a night of Christmas movies with family or friends.
