One cold afternoon my daughter and I sat down to watch this movie by Hallmark called Northpole we’ve been seeing and hearing so much about. My daughter is ALL about Christmas! It’s always fun when it comes around and we get to snuggle up together with hot chocolate and candy canes. We put up the tree, bake cookies, and watch the copious amounts of Christmas movies.
The movie Northpole was so adorable! A week later we are in Walmart and my daughter, even though she is 14 freaks out over the collection of toys they have. I thought she would never leave the aisle all over this cute Snowball the polar bear Plush and Book Combo. I thought really your 14! Truth is I am just as big of a kid as she is. When I saw the Magic Snowball I was like now I have to buy that! I knew just who to give it to.
See I have a friend that plays elf to my kids every year. I think she would get a kick out of this. She always brings over gifts and the teens are like YES. I also have a friend with a daughter who is 5 that would also like these Northpole Toys just as much. Most of all I am doing secret santa this year and I know there is two little girls that are 3 and 6 these would be absolutely perfect for. These are just too fun!
On Christmas eve, we open gifts with my husbands family as they Czech and that’s what they do. For us at home, we open the gifts up on Christmas day taking turns so I can see everyone’s excitement and get pictures. What are you gift sharing traditions? I’d love to hear about them below.
I don’t get much at Christmas because I am the mom of three teenagers. Sometimes I get a little something for myself to enjoy. These adorable nesting bowls were on my for me list. I am trying to decide if I should stuff them under the tree or just use them. After all, it is baking season 😀
