As summer approaches I think about all things seasonal and beach. My daughter even picked her squad name to include mermaids. I thought how fun would be to have a healthy treat that is so pretty like these Mermaid Yogurt bites. Really wish they made candy sea shell sprinkles. It’s true I would probably own too many of them.
I love ocean life. I grew up on the ocean when I was young. It’s the one place I would like to move back near. The idea of having the beach and ocean out your front door it just mystical to me. Just image sitting on the front porch with a glass of juice and these Mermaid Yogurt Bites as an afternoon snack watching the waves crash.
While we know their are not mermaids we can still dream. Right? I think I like them a little more than unicorns. I still remember when Disney put out the Little Mermaid and the little girl I would babysit would watch it over and over. Loved that film! Heck they even put Ursula in the video game Kingdom of Hearts. I remember spending a spring break with the kids trying to beat her as a boss on the game.
Time sure does fly. So if you have a little one be sure to make these with them. They will love the colors! I think these would be awesome for a Little Mermaid themed party or even any ocean themed party. Could be cute to be served at a pool party or even on the beach. Just have to keep them really cold in that ice chest. If you would like them a little sweeter you may add sugar to the yogurt but I like the natural sweetness of yogurt.
