What is IDO3D you ask? Well it is this really cool 3D art pen with ultra violet light that allows you to create 3D art. You simply places the plastic sheet over any design in the art book and use the pen ink to copy the design. Using the ultra violet light you heat the project. Once the project is dry you have 3D art you can display for fun! So… What does the kit include?
Included in the kit:
- 2 green inks
- 1 yellow ink
- tracing book
- 2 red inks
- tracing sheet
- dome tracing sheet
- oval tracing sheet
- curing light
The tips are adjustable between thick and thin. The tips screw on to the pens. I recommend taping the plastic sheet so that it doesn’t move around on you when trying to create your 3D art. More than one plastic sheets and many colors would be my main recommendation to this project.
Needs better instructions out of the box but hey we figured it out pretty fast on how simple the process is. We used pretty thick lines because we figured it would be the best way to hold our 3D art together. Included in the set is some domes. These you can create whatever you would like and simple dry with the light and remove. The domes are pretty darn cool! You can use them over and over again also. The plastic sheet gets a bit funky but still pretty fun!
Even though the age is younger on this kit my 15 year old daughter and husband had plenty of fun with this. If you have a kid to buy for that is very creative or crafty this is a fun kit they will enjoy at the holiday season.
