Have I told you how much I just love potato wedges. They can be popped right into the digital oven and I can continue working. By the time they are done I have wrote yet another post or finished up a photography shoot. They are a go to for me for lunch. Of course I am super crazy about mayo with my fries. Yes, don’t knock it before you try it. Plus, adding in some garlic jalapeno seasoning to both the wedges and the mayo can give it just the right kick! Your seriously going to love my Garlic Jalapeno Potato Wedges for lunch or just a side dish.
Heck maybe even just a snack while watching movies. We do that a little to often around here which is why I like to stop off at Walmart and pick up McCormick Garlic Jalapeño Seasoning and sometimes the ranch version too! One way I make sure my wedges are cut evenly is that I cut the potato in half. Then I slice it long ways four times. We make wedges so often that I found this to be the fastest way to cut wedges evenly and quickly.
I don’t like to use oil on them but you can if you feel it gives them more of a crispy tasty. It’s not my preference since they taste so delicious with the seasoning on them. Just wash, cut, and then season. Baking on parchment paper is the way to go. No stick with easy clean up. I am not a dishes person.Print
- 4 red skinned potatoes; wedged
- 4 teaspoons McCormick Garlic Jalapeño Seasoning
- 1/3 cup mayo
- Slice potatoes into wedges.
- Preheat oven to 375 F.
- Sprinkle two teaspoons of McCormick Garlic Jalapeño Seasoning onto the potato wedges. Bake for 45 minutes until golden brown.
- Mix mayo and two teaspoons garlic jalapeno seasoning.
