There is some party of me somewhere that loves summer. Not the humid summers here in the south. I like those dry weather summers in California. Where you head to the beach and plop on the sand with a towel, lotion, and just sleep. Wake up tan and full of vitamin D. This Flamingo Tiki Summer wreath reminds me of the cutest symbolism of summer.
Tiki bars and little umbrella’s coming out of pineapple flavored drinks. What’s not to love? Most of all these items I bought at the Dollar Tree. No, this isn’t a sponsored post I just love that store. I can usually find what I need for just a few dollars to make something so cute to display on my front door. The ribbon I generally pick up at another store but recently I have seen some of it coming into Dollar Tree. I think you never know what you can find.
How To Make Flamingo Tiki Summer Wreath:
- wire wreath
- 1 roll pink mesh
- 1 roll yellow mesh
- wreath hanger
- 1 tiki bar sign
- 1 tiki cup
- plastic yarn flamingo
- package drink umbrella’s
- 1 package pink pipe cleaners
- 1 package yellow pipe cleaners
- 2 hot glue sticks
- 1 hot glue gun
Cut pipe cleaners in half and then again into another half. Use them to secure each color of mesh ribbon. Secure the ribbon at each metal crossing. Rotate the mesh per color on each row of the metal wire. Use the pipe cleaner as a twisty tie. Pop the mesh up and secure then repeat.
Hot glue the tiki sign, flamingo, tiki cup, and drink umbrella’s where you would like them place on the wreath. Hang with wreath hanger over door.
