Easy Deathly Hallows Ornaments
For over a year now the idea was to turn my tree into an ode to Harry Potter but not in a childish way. The tree and the decorations need to be elegant. Hence, when I stumbled onto some these deathly hallows stickers the excitement was real to create my easy deathly hallows ornaments.
Before finding the stickers there was many ideas on how to make Harry Potter style ornaments. From brooms to potions just about every idea is out there but didn’t fit the style pictured in my head. The Deathly Hallows stickers made it virtually so easy to place the stickers onto clear glass (or plastic) ornaments.
First, the stickers aren’t perfect because well an ornament is round so it’s hard to get them on right. Second, these stickers are small which is perfect for small ornaments like these. In the end you will have easy deathly hallows ornaments along with easy harry potter ornaments.
These are not the only Harry Potter Christmas ornaments I plan to use. Ceramic white snowy owls along with some other handmade ornaments will help this tree vision come to life. Hence, then it will be on to the topper.
Additionally, the tree had some gold mesh added to it along with red, black, and gold ornaments babbles. First, the thought was to do the sorting hat as a topper but that’s so over used. Currently, we are looking at a wood laser engraving machine to help with the topper and other future projects.
However, this is the tree so far this year. Over the next year I will be building small projects to add to the tree. Hence, I plan to share them here with you next Fall or Winter. If you have an idea or suggestion on what I should add I’d love to hear about it below.
