I cannot believe that the 4th of July is just a few days away! Summer seems to be going by so quickly. Luckily, my daughter and I have plenty planned to for the next few days for fun projects for the blog. We also will be going on vacation next week the day after the 4th! I am seriously counting down. It’s been 8 years and all too long since I’ve been on vacation. But alas, I still have a few more goodies for you this week plus all the fun vacation posts when I get back! Today, I am sharing with you a very easy 4th of July Door Wreath that can be made in less that 10 minutes and cost less than $10.
All the products I purchased from Dollar Tree (except the wreath). I seriously love that store. You can do so many neat projects for super inexpensive. Just like this 4th of July door wreath that you can easily use year to year. We picked up two pairs of patriotic flip flops. These can be any you choose. 3 to 4 strands of July 4th garland and a three pack of patriotic leis. Just about two hot glue sticks and any patriotic sign they have in the store will work!
We wrapped the garland around the wreath. This can be a foam wreath or greenery wreath. With the green wreath we left just a bit of space between each wrap. Once at the end of the wreath we just put a tad of hot glue. Then continued with the next piece of garland.
After all the garland is on the wreath we took two of the leis and place them at opposite ends of the wreath hot gluing each end. Then we placed the flip flops opposite the leis and with almost a whole hot glue stick hot glued the flip flops first together and then to the wreath.
Lastly, we took the sign and removed the string then used the last leis to feed through the sign then hot glued it to the top of the wreath where it would hang center. We had a wreath hook so we placed it on the front door and hung the wreath up. It’s such a neat way to celebrate the holiday of the 4th of July with your neighbors. The bright colors are so much fun too!
Honestly, I will leave this up all summer long! It’s the perfect summer colors. While I bought everything at the Dollar Tree here is some similar items below at Amazon you can buy to make this wreath if you just don’t feel like going out and shopping.
