Christmas Crinkle Cookies are an easy and adorable Christmas cookie to set out for Santa. Hence, when it comes to the holiday season easy holiday cookies make for the best gifts. Additionally, they are fantastic to make and set out for Santa. With the hustle and bustle of the holiday season this easy cookie recipe is number on on my list.
Additionally, when I look for an easy holiday cookie I look for a cookie that has few ingredients. That’s what’s fantastic about this recipe. Hence the few ingredients to make them. Plus, it doesn’t take much effort either. The kids can get in the kitchen to help make these cookies.
What I like to do is make the dough ahead of time when it’s holiday season. Hence, it’s made a day ahead then it can be popped out to fridge to make cookies for holiday gatherings or to put out for Santa. For example, you can make them the day before Christmas Eve then let the kids roll them in powdered sugar and bake them.
These Christmas Crinkle Cookies don’t have to be red and green. Hence, you can use just about any color you would like to. For example, purple, pink and blue can be adorable for winter style cookies. Try different color palettes for parties too. For instance, pastels for unicorn or vibrant colors for a painting party.
These easy cookies are great for any occasion. Try black dye for a 4oth or 5oth birthday party. Also, add gold dusting to make then stand out for a New Year’s Party. Lastly, since they are cookies made from cake mix they are nice and soft. Therefore they are easy to pack for the holidays as they just don’t break like a regular cookie!
