Salad with ground beef, onions, pickles, tomatoes and topped with thousand island dressing.



  • 1 lb ground beef; 90/10
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon garlic; minced
  • 2 teaspoons paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon pepper
  • 1 head of iceberg lettuce
  • 2 roma tomatoes; diced
  • 12 pickles; diced
  • 1/2 cup red onion; diced
  • 1 bottle thousand island dressing


  1. Place ground beef and olive oil into a saute pan. Add salt, pepper, paprika, and garlic. Cook until meat it browned. Drain grease.
  2. Wash and chop iceberg lettuce. Place into a large bowl. Dice the tomatoes. Add to the bowl and toss.
  3. Dice the pickles. Slice pickles can be diced. Look for pickles that have a thicker slice. Add to bowl. Chop the red onion and add to bowl.
  4. Add ground beef to the bowl and toss with salad tongs. Serve topped with thousand island dressing.
