Bacon Weave Baked Beans are that perfect summer side dish to a wonderful barbecue. Southern style baked beans topped with a bacon weave for a delightful side dish that will wow your friends and family. Pair it with any meat on the grill pool side or vegetable kebabs. Don’t forget dessert and I have just the one DREYER’S Butterfinger Peanut Butter Cup Ice Cream! I’d love to show you how to put together a simple summer barbecue party by pool side.
Bacon Weave Baked Beans can be made in advance. You can weave it and let it sit in the fridge until party time. Just pop it in the digital or convention oven when you start grilling. By the time your done the side dish will be perfectly ready to eat.
When it comes to dessert I like to pick up some DREYER’S Butterfinger Peanut Butter Cup Ice Cream and DREYER’S BabyRuth Ice Cream from Walmart in the freezer section then pop it in the freezer at home. I get two versions that almost everyone will like one or the other.
Being poolside ice cream is the perfect dessert and with no frills you already get the candy in this ice cream so no need for toppings! I just pull it out of the freeze and serve in cute cups!
Flavors were inspired by your favorite candies like Nestlé Butterfinger® Peanut Butter Cups and Baby Ruth®. It’s proudly made with fresh milk & cream with no rBST (milk production hormone) and no artificial colors or flavors. I just love that it doesn’t have the rBST so my son can eat it!
Don’t forget to celebrate togetherness with EDY’S®/DREYER’s. Take the time to have your friends and family over for a barbecue. Summer is the time to gather with friends, swim in the pool, and have fun with plenty of food. When it warms up for summer I can’t wait to jump in the pool. If I lived near the ocean it would be in it instead! We even have really adorable floats including a flamingo and a pizza. I have to go get the popsicle and donut next time 🙂
You can check out more on DREYER’S on their Instagram or for more recipe check out their Pinterest. I’d love to hear about what summer fun you have to come together with family and friends! Do you serve up something special?
