With the wedding just ten months away I am constantly thinking about how it’s important to eat healthy in the New Year. Why does it have to wait until then. Why can’t I stop eating out for one day and just have a good old sandwich on one of my most favorite breads. Sara Lee® Honey Wheat has to be my most favorite in the world. One I don’t have to peel the crust off of. I decided to put a spin on a sandwich I love since I have been craving avocado and just needed an excuse to use it. How about a Avocado Tuna Sandwich that features simple ingredients.
Completely budget friendly for yourself or you and your lunch date. You can also take this recipe and cut it into finger sandwiches for a tasty and healthier option at a party, brunch, or bridal shower.
The Delightful breads are all heart-healthy and provide an excellent source of fiber in each serving (2 slices), with no artificial colors or flavors, and no high fructose corn syrup. Sara Lee® Delightful can be paired with your choice of spread (we like jam, peanut butter, hummus or soft spreadable cheese); enjoyed with your favorite lunch meats for the perfect sandwich; or used in some of your favorite recipes including French toast, bread pudding, strata, panini and more.
