Breakfast is not something we get to eat all time do to schedule conflicts. Lately, I have been looking for ways that my daughter can get a breakfast that she can eat quickly in the morning or in the car on the way to school. I like to incorporate fresh fruit because of how hard she works for color guard. This Strawberry Roses and Banana salad paired with Quaker® Real Medleys® Yogurt Cups (shelf stable yogurt) makes my morning super easy.
With Back to School coming up I stopped off at my local Walmart superstore to pick up breakfast and lunch items. I passed by the oatmeal section and saw these Quaker Real Medleys Yogurt Cups and grabbed a few. They were nothing like I had seen before. You can find them located in the cold or ready-to-eat cereal aisles. Some stores had a demo set up for you to taste test the product!
Real Medleys is a delicious blend of yogurt and multigrain granola with real fruit and crunchy nuts. Just add cold milk, stir, and eat! It is satisfying with 25 grams of whole grains and 10 grams of protein with 1/2 cup of cold Skim Milk. Mmm delicious! Crunchy. Cool. Yum. Flavors include: Strawberry Almond, Apple Cinnamon, Raspberry Pecan.
My daughter and I both love the strawberry roses and banana salad with the Quaker Real Medleys Yogurt Cups for breakfast especially on the long days of football games or competitions. It’s nice because we can pack a single serving cup each along with a bowl of strawberry roses and bananas. I just love to cut the strawberries as roses. Just makes food that much more fun to eat. I also like to dip my roses into the yogurt cup!
