With the wedding just ten months away I am constantly thinking about how it’s important to eat healthy in the New Year. Why does it have to wait until then. One I don’t have to peel the crust off of. I decided to put a spin on a sandwich I love since I have been craving avocado and just needed an excuse to use it. How about a Avocado Tuna Sandwich that features simple ingredients.

ITEMS TO MAKE AVOCADO TUNA SANDWICH
- 4 slices of Sara Lee Honey Wheat bread
- 1 avocado
- ½ red onion; diced
- 1 can tuna
- ¼ teaspoon black pepper
- ¼ teaspoon salt
- ¼ teaspoon lemon juice
- In a small bowl, add in drained tuna, avocado, and diced red onion. Mash together with a fork.
- Add in lemon juice, salt, and pepper and mix well.
- Place on bread and slice in half or into quarters.
